Aida Boulos

Aida has been at A.P.E. for 18 years and when she joined she studied and worked at the same time. He education didn’t stop however and she continued to do courses through the organisation and she completed both computer and English language courses.
The computer course has helped her in her current capacity as a secretary in the paper division and the English is useful when dealing with foreign guest to the Moquattam site and when she is in charge of stalls at bazaars and fairs around Cairo.

Marzouka Wannis

Marzouka was 11 years old when she joined A.P.E. An A.P.E. volunteer spotted her going to work with her father, a Zabbal. Her family was persuaded to let Marzouka join the organisation in order to escape the rubbish business.
She learnt to read and write and worked in the rug section before taking work into her home. At 18 she met her future husband through the church and got married.

Adel Mounir Zikry

Adel has been with A.P.E. since 1989. He runs the school in Moquattam. The school has 250 children from the ages of 3 months to 6 years old, the nursery and kindergarten years.
There are 18 staff members and the school hours match the working hours in the Moquattam division in order to ensure working mothers can have their children in school near by.

Noura Mostafa

Since 2003 Noura has worked as a healthcare worker in Torah. She works primarily in the clinic in Torah. Through A.P.E. Noura received her nursing training and even attended a course at Kasr El Aini hospital. A typical day for Noura begins at 8.30 at the clinic, where she works with both adults and children.
